Rehabilitation robots can assist with this task in multiple ways. Creating a gaming aspect to the rehabilitation process has brought a significant improvement in systems.

As patients get stronger and more coordinated, a therapist can program the robot to let them bear more weight and move more freely in different directions, walking, kicking a ball, or even lunging to the side to catch one. The robot can follow the patient\'s lead as effortlessly as a ballroom dancer, its presence nearly undetectable until it senses the patient starting to drop and quickly stops a fall. In the later stages of physical therapy, the robot can nudge patients off balance to help them learn to recover.

According to Susan Eustis, principal author of the market research study, \"Robotic therapy stimulus of upper limbs provides an example of the excellent motor recovery after stroke that can be achieved using rehabilitation robots.\" Exoskeleton systems provide wheelchair bound patients the ability to get out of a wheelchair

Rehabilitation robot market size at $43.3 million is expected grow dramatically to reach $1.8 billion by 2020. Market growth is a result of the effectiveness of robotic treatment of muscle difficulty. The usefulness of the rehabilitation robots is increasing. Exoskeleton: Market Shares, Strategy, and Forecasts, Worldwide, 2015 to 2021

Worldwide markets are poised to achieve significant growth as the exoskeletons are used inside rehabilitation treatment centers and at home to provide stability for paraplegics and people who need gait training. Ultimately exoskeletons will be used for the rehabilitation of all patients with serious physical injuries or physical dysfunction.

Exoskeleton robots support walking for previously wheel chair bound patients: They function as wearable robots that bring new functionality to the rehabilitation markets. Exoskeleton robots promote upright walking and relearning of lost functions in a patient needing physical therapy. Exoskeletons can play a significant role in this medical treatment process. Emerging markets promise to have dramatic and rapid growth. Exoskeletons deliver higher quality rehabilitation, provide growth strategy for clinical facilities.

Relearning of lost functions in a patient depends on stimulation of desire to conquer the disability. The Exoskeleton can show patients progress and keep the progress occurring, encouraging patients to work on getting healthier. Independent functioning of patients depends on intensity of treatment, task-specific exercises, active initiation of movements and motivation and feedback. Exoskeleton can assist with these tasks in multiple ways. Creating a gaming aspect to the rehabilitation process has brought a significant improvement in systems.

As patients get stronger and more coordinated, a therapist can program the exoskeleton robot to let them bear more weight and move more freely in different directions, walking, kicking a ball, or even lunging to the side to catch one. The robot can follow the patient’s lead as effortlessly as a ballroom dancer, its presence nearly undetectable until it senses the patient starting to drop and quickly stops a fall. In the later stages of physical therapy, the robot can nudge patients off balance to help them learn to recover.

According to Susan Eustis, principal author of the team that developed the market research study, “Exoskeleton robotic therapy stimulus of upper and lower limbs provides a way for people who cannot walk to be upright and move from a vertical position, a very exciting market development. Examples of the excellent motor recovery after stroke that can be achieved using an exoskeleton.” Lower limb systems and exoskeleton systems provide wheelchair bound patients the ability to get out of a wheelchair

The exoskeleton products that work are still emerging as commercial devices. All the products that are now commercially viable are positioned to achieve significant staying power in the market long term, providing those companies that offer them with a possibility for long term leadership position in the market.

Rehabilitation robotic technologies developed in the areas of stroke rehabilitation and SCI represent therapeutic interventions with utility at varying points of the continuum of care. Exoskeletons are a related technology, but provide dramatic support for walking for people who simply cannot walk.

Robotics has tremendous ability to reduce disability and lead to better outcomes for patients with paralysis due to traumatic injury. With the use of exoskeletons, patient recovery of function is subtle or non existent, but getting patients able to walk and move around is of substantial benefit, People using exoskeleton robots are able to make continued progress in regaining functionality even years after an injury.

It is a question of cost. The insurance will only pay for a small amount of exoskeleton rehabilitation. More marketing will have a tremendous effect in convincing people that they can achieve improvements even after years of effort.

Rehabilitation robotics includes development of devices for assisting performance of sensorimotor functions. Devices help arm, hand, leg rehabilitation by supporting repetitive motion that builds neurological pathways to support use of the muscles. Development of different schemes for assisting therapeutic training is innovative. Assessment with sensorimotor performance helps patients move parts of the body that have been damaged.

Robotic exoskeleton rehabilitation equipment is mostly used in rehabilitation clinical facilities, though there is some effort to build a home market. There is a huge opportunity for launching a homecare equipment market if it is done through sports clubs rather than through clinical facilities. People expect insurance to pay for medical equipment but are willing to spend bundles on sports trainer equipment for the home. Exoskeleton can help stroke patients years after an event, so it makes a difference if someone keeps working to improve their functioning.

Exoskeleton realistically extend the use of automated process for rehabilitation in the home. The availability of affordable devices that improve mobility is not likely to go unnoticed by the sports clubs and the baby boomer generation, now entering the over 65 age group and seeking to maintain lifestyle. As clinicians realize that more gains can be made by using Exoskeleton in the home, the pace of acquisitions will likely pick up.

The exoskeleton robot market size at $16.5 million in 2014 is expected grow dramatically to reach $2.1 billion by 2021. Exoskeleton markets will be separate and additive to the robotic rehabilitation market. A separate exoskeleton market will create growth by the weight of excellent device capabilities. Market growth is a result of the effectiveness of robotic treatment of muscle difficulty. The usefulness of the Exoskeleton is increasing. Doing more sophisticated combinations of exercise have become more feasible as the technology evolves. Patients generally practice 1,000 varied movements per session. With the robots, more sessions are possible.

Robot Cars and Trucks: Market Shares, Strategy, and Forecasts, Worldwide, 2015 to 2021

The 2015 study has 413 pages, 156 tables and figures. Worldwide markets are poised to achieve significant growth as robot cars and trucks permit users to implement automated driving. Fleet vehicles from Uber, Google and similar users are likely to be the early adopter groups.

IBM and Google are sure to be a significant software vendors for all the robot car and truck market participants. IBM has a huge head start with its excellent middleware branded integrated solutions that are hardened and reliable. Google has mindshare and early market success with its early market trials.

As automated process hits the auto industry as a disruptive force, it parallels the automated piloting of the airline industry that saw significant labor savings implementation. Automated vehicle driving can be done anywhere just by connecting the car to integrated adaptive cruise control, adaptive steering and braking, and lane assist systems all working off one central processor.

Robot cars and trucks incrementally add automated process to driving. As software is added to cars and trucks it is done in concert with modification to the steering, breaking, and other automotive systems. Autonomous functions for vehicles are increasingly adopted.

Change is incremental, we do not have fully functioning robot cars immediately, rather, steering, collision avoidance, parking, test driving, series of camera and radar based monitoring systems, lane assist, and adaptive cruise control are being implemented, presaging rapid adoption of robot cars and trucks as the various functions mature and work in the real world.

According to Susan Eustis, team leader for the preparation of the study, “The market for robot car and truck vehicles is anticipated to expand in parallel with the deployment of appropriate roadway controls funded by government programs. The large public investments for robot vehicles so far has been for development of technology that works for military purposes. The extension of this type of automated system to commercial fleet vehicles will be rapid after 2020”

The robot car designs amalgamate a group of features to represent an automated process solution. These include the hardware, the software middleware, the steering system, adaptive cruise control, numerous software applications, an integrated systems approach, and related services. Significant investments in research and development are necessary as the emerging robot cars and trucks industry builds on incremental technology roll outs.

Robot car and truck commercial autonomous car market shipments forecasts indicate that markets beginning to develop in 2015 will rise to $868 million by 2021. Growth is a result of various moves toward autonomous vehicles that park themselves, provide automated steering, are used as test vehicles, are used as mapping vehicles, and that provide driver alerts but fall sort of complete robotically operated car vehicles.

Market driving forces relate primarily to the need for increased safety and personalization for autos. Car manufacturers are positioning with robot car models to meet demand at the high end. Many robot vehicle car vendors are making automation for personal vehicles and trucks a reality.

LED Agricultural Grow Lights: Market Shares, Strategy, and Forecasts, Worldwide, 2015 to 2021

The 2015 study has 596 pages, 163 tables and figures. Worldwide markets for LED Agricultural Grow Lights are growing as units support more efficient indoor growing. The LEDs are less costly than alternatives and save significantly on electricity costs. Rapid adoption of LED lighting in general is occurring. Rapid adoption of LED grow lights worldwide is occurring as systems provide peak growing efficiently.

LED grow lights are more powerful and efficient than the older generation high-pressure sodium and metal halide bulb grow lights. They lower the electricity bill and produce less heat. Less heat allows putting the light closer to plants, the plants do not get burned.

Next-generation LED grow lights deliver dramatic power savings and unmatched product reliability. LED grow lights are shifting as illustrated by the new Everlight GL-Flora LED lighting fixtures for agriculture. They offer low power, high-efficiency, uniform light pattern, homogenous light distribution at precisely the right wavelengths and color ratios needed for superior photosynthetic response.

LED grow lights are different. Grow lights provide artificial light used for plant growth. The spectrum of growth lights is tuned to the plant growing task. Plant light has photons from the blue to red (400–700 nm) part of the spectrum. This is called growth light. Horticulture lamps address the role of light in the growth and development of plants. Plant growth is a function of photosynthesis.

The plant growth lights work in three different ways:
To provide all the light a plant needs to grow
To supplement sunlight, especially in winter months when daylight hours are short
To increase the length of the "day" in order to trigger specific growth and flowering
LED grow lights use growth light to automate and control growing. The ability to grow food consistently, locally represents a major breakthrough for humanity. Growth lights permit people to grow food in warehouses and in the home, dedicating unused space in a manner that is efficient for producing food.

Taking cost of transportation out of the food chain is a breakthrough of major proportions. The ability to make fresh, sanitary food available consistently presents a major shift in how people live and achieve quality of life. Growth lights increase the density of food production by a factor of ten. This is significant.

In some places, like Japan, where there is a deficiency in the environment, plant factories will continue to proliferate and to use LED grow lights as large warehouse type entities that provide food for the general public and for people who need specialized nutrition.

According to Susan Eustis, the lead author of the team that created the study, “Solid state electronics brings the same advantages to agriculture as it has brought to all other industry segments it touches. Growers are finding that they can achieve a rapid return on investment from substantially decreasing the energy costs associated with using grow lights, lengthening the growing season, eliminating chemical contaminants in the food supply, and significantly decreasing transportation costs for food production.”

As more people become more health conscious and try to avoid the deleterious effects of pesticides in their food grow lights are anticipated to find more and larger markets among greenhouse operators. The large warehouse size plant factories are expected to concentrate on raising seedlings.

LED grow light module markets at $395 million in 2014 are forecast to reach $1.8 billion by 2021. Rapid growth is anticipated as green house and plant factory growers find the LED grow lights improve agriculture.

Travel and Tourism in China to 2019: Market Research, Insights, outlook and survey report

Tourism by Chinese residents registered significant growth while there was minimal growth in the arrival of foreign tourists to China. Outbound trips by Chinese residents totaled 107.9 million in 2014, crossing the milestone of 100 million for the first time. Departures grew at a strong CAGR of 17.7% during the historic period and this was mainly due to steady and strong growth in the economy and appreciation in Chinese currency.

Key Findings

Outbound trips from China demonstrated the maximum growth among the three categories of tourism, rising from 47.7 million in 2009 to 107.9 million in 2014, and crossing the milestone of 100 million. This was driven by consistent growth in the economy (growing at an annual rate of more than 7% throughout the historic period 2009–2014), rising disposable income of residents, appreciating Chinese currency, tourism friendly visa policies of foreign countries/regions and China’s expanding air connectivity to other international destinations. International trips are likely to reach 153.7 million by 2019. There was high growth in domestic trips, increasing from 1 billion in 2009 to 1.9 billion in 2014.

Arrivals from Russia have been declining since 2012. This has been due to depreciating Russian Ruble (RUB) against the Chinese Yuan Renminbi (CNY). There was a decline of 7.7%, 4.5% and 16.6% in 2012, 2013 and 2014 respectively. The decline was particularly strong in 2014 due to the adverse affect of Russian economy as a result of sanctions imposed by European Union and the United States in the wake of the Crimea annexation.

Due to the high growth in outbound tourism, the direct flights providing connectivity of Chinese cities to international destinations have increased. For example, there were ten non-stop flights between China and US in 2006 which increased to 35 by 2014 with the announcement of three non-stop flights already for 2015.
